As a retiree from the Naval Reserve and an Estate Planning and Elder Law Attorney I have a particular passion for helping veterans and their families (especially surviving spouses) understand how to obtain long term care benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Most vets are unaware of the benefits available through veteran’s health care, through veteran’s homes, through home renovation grants and special disability programs called Compensation and Pension.
